SEQUOYAH LACROSSE BOOSTER CLUB BOARD

WHO ARE WE AND WHAT DO WE DO?

The Sequoyah Lacrosse Booster Club is a non-profit, self-funded organization that exists to support the girls lacrosse programs at Sequoyah High School. The Booster Club is comprised of dues-paying members and the head coach. We are volunteers. We are parents of players. We are coaches. We are teachers. We are Sequoyah Lacrosse fans.

Brad Griffiths

President

Responsibilities

Presides over all Club activities; serves as primary spokesperson for the Club. Ensures all legal records for the Club are current. Confirms submission of all documents/records to the school. Appoints committees & chairs with approval of the Board. Will establish agenda within at least 48 hours before meetings.

Rosey McCrobie

Vice President

Responsibilities

Serves at liaison and spokesperson for girls teams. Works with coaches providing support as needed. Coordinates all home game day activities, volunteer jobs & meals, including establishing volunteers for key positions, ensuring gates/concessions are opened/closed. Ensure coaches & referees have what they need.

Beth Pelton

Secretary

Responsibilities

Keeps written records of all meetings. Shares responsibility for the collection of student-athlete dues with the Treasurer. Maintains a current list of all Club members and their membership status. Shares responsibility for coordination of the end of the year Banquet with the Fundraising Chairperson. Other duties as needed.

Sharon Mahoney

Treasurer

Responsibilities

Receives all monies due to the Club. Keeps accurate account of all receipts/disbursements/monies received. Disburses funds only for purposes approved by booster club. Presents written statement of accounts at all Board meetings & full report at the end of the school year meeting.

Coach Brent Budde

Head Coach

Board Responsibilities

Has the same rights as all other Executive Officers when Board voting occurs but may not be allowed to vote on matters that pertain to benefitting them financially, including, but not limited to, bonuses, stipends, and conferences. May compose or approve web & social media content pertaining to the Club.
